这备受媒体注目的迁葬仪式，令富贵山莊再次成为各方的焦点，拿督邝汗光率领各高层主管，一齐见证了这历史性的一刻。

The late artiste Lee Yee, a legendary singer who captured the hearts of many of his contemporaries in the 70's, had his ashes, long settled in Miao Siang Lin Buddhist Temple in Penang, relocated to Nirvana Memorial Park Peace Garden on 21st Jun 2006, amidst great media hype and heart warming participation.
The relocation exercise is unprecedentedin that it was the first ash relocation for a local artiste.
The ritual, with all its media hype, drew upon it a lot of media attention nat seen in decades. Members of the press had even taken the initiatiive to follow through the whole episode by joining in the journey from start to finish.
Lee Yee's beloved wife, Ting Ting, accompanied by Lee Yee's contemporary singers, got Lee Yee's ashes, contained in an urn, relocated in Lee Yee Memorial in a solemn, yet touching ceremony witnessed by some 200 participants including Group MD Dato David Kong and NV HODs, rendering this occasion a most memorable one.
Lee Yee Memorial adds to the list of tourist attractions in Nirvana Memorial Park, other than Bai Guang Music Tomb.
